On 4th August 1892, H.R.H. the Duchess of Albany, the daughter-in-law of Queen Victoria, came to the Meath for the dedication ceremony. The grounds were filled with 1500 guests, but as yet there were no residents.
Home from Home Appeal: CANOE CHALLENGEMeath Chief Executive, Mike Keighley, is aiming to canoe the Thames to raise funds for our new high-needs facility.
The Meath has six guaranteed places in the BRITISH 10K LONDON RUN taking place on Sunday 8 July 2012. We would love to hear from anyone who would like to take part helping to raise valuable sponsorship for the Meath.
