The Meath Day Centre
I am
feeling really
proud – I sold
my first
painting
today. The
gym is also
good. It’s
got new
equipment.

The Meath Day Centre benefits not not just our residents but many others in the community living with a disability. The range of activities that take place here include drama workshops, discos, themed parties as well as bingo and quiz nights. We also have a fully equipped gym, which is open to residents, visitors and the general public.
But perhaps the jewel in our crown is the Meath Arthouse - a new venture which was officially opened by Jeremy Hunt MP on November 10 2006.
The Arthouse is the brainchild of Becky Sheraidah, a remarkably talented young woman who believes that artistic self expression has a major part to play in the care and management of people with epilepsy and learning difficulties. She has quickly been proved right. You can read about her achievements and view some of the work produced by Arthouse students in the Arthouse page.
