Fundraising and the Future

So much of what we are able to achieve at the Meath is dependent on the generosity of individuals and organisations who donate money to us. We are committed to giving our residents the highest standards of privacy, space and comfort that we possibly can.
Over the next five years we aim to transform two of our residential units to provide bigger bedrooms with en-suite facilites. This will enable us to provide flexible care and also to meet national care standards. The first unit for refurbishment is Westbrook, currently home to 10 Meath residents. We have to raise £1.4 million to upgrade the bedrooms, create a quiet area and to provide better disability access.
Other important projects include a major upgrade to our gardens which will benefit both our residents and others in the community living with a disability. We must also continue fundraising for our highly successful Arthouse and to maintain our magnificent old Georgian mansion which is due for a major roof refurbishment in the near future.
Gordon Hennessy, our Chief Executive, will be delighted to give you more information about any of these important new ventures. Please feel free to call him on 01483 415095.
