Why we need your help

The MeathThe Meath cares for a group of people who are among the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our society. A combination of severe epilepsy, learning and physical disabilities, as well as other conditions such as autism and cerebral palsy, makes an independent life out of reach for many, some of whom will stay with us for the rest of their lives.

Although the Meath's basic running costs come from statutory sources, we rely heavily on voluntary income to provide and maintain the best possible facilities for our residents. We have a long term programme of development to ensure we are able to give our residents a level of privacy, space and dignity that our facilities currently cannot deliver.

We also fundraise to provide a range of 'extras' for residents that are not covered by statutory funding.
