Arthouse thrilled at major success after Anne clinches first prize against 1500 entries from all over the UK.

There were big celebrations at our Arthouse in July when Anne Thomas won a first category prize in the EAC (Elderly Art Counsel) annual art competition for amateur artists aged over 60. Anne got the chance to enter the competition thanks to the Arthouse, an exciting new venture of the Meath Epilepsy Trust. Set up as a social enterprise, the Arthouse gives more than 30 residents at the Meath and people with a learning disability from the wider community in Godalming, access to painting and printmaking, exhibiting and selling their artistic collaborations in galleries, with profits invested back into the business.
