During the past few months, the following members of staff have achieved NVQ’s:

• Wendy Gaines, NVQ3 in May
• Becky Burgess, NVQ2 in May
• Amy Portsmouth, NVQ2 in May
• Jo Howley, NVQ3 in May
• Gemma Fry, NVQ2 in May
• Clarissa Baynes, Registered Manager’s Award in June
• Natasha Willson, NVQ2 in July
• Sinan Turgut, NVQ2 in July
• Lynda Swansborough, NVQ3 in August

By the end of 2006, a total of 5 Duke of Edinburgh Award students will have spent time at the Meath doing their Bronze Award. Part of the Award is a section called Service, which lasts for 3 months and involves a commitment to 1 hour per week helping in the community. Usually they will help in the Arthouse or in Jeffrey Court.
