Thanks to the generosity of a much maligned sector of our business community, a new fundraising initiative means the arduous process of moving house can now raise funds for the Meath. ‘Move for Good’ works by linking people selling their houses with estate agents who have signed up to the scheme. Participating estate agents reduce their fees to the seller by 10% – and give a further 10% to the charity the customer nominates. This could translate into a saving of more than £200 on fees for a typical homeowner, and a donation of the same amount to the Meath! (less a £60 fee to Move for Good to cover adminstration costs).
