Two wheelchair bound Meath residents enjoy a great holiday in Majorca
Accompanied by two Meath carers, Anne and Julianne spent a week in sunny Majorca this summer and judging from the holiday snap at Marineland, had a great time. They flew from Gatwick to Palma and stayed in a specially adapted disabled apartment which even had a swimming pool with a hoist!
From the moment they arrived and got into heir specially adapted taxi, everything was laid on for them. We had a brilliant time said Anne, so good that Julianne and I are busy planning our next trip.
Many Meath residents spend time away from us on holiday and as Anne and Julianne have demonstrated, being in a wheelchair doesn’t stop people from flying away to the sunshine and enjoying themselves.
