Stepping Stones to Independence

A pathway to help all Meath residents achieve their maximum potential

Although the Meath provides long term care in a homely environment for residents with very severe epilepsy, some residents will progress quite significantly during their time with us. In most cases, those with the ability to develop will spend time in a unit offering more independence, before moving either to our supported living flat in Godalming, or other accommodation arranged by their social services care manager.

We are actively working to expand our community activities so that residents have every opportunity to lead more independent lives when the time is right for them to do so.
