Cotswold Way Challenge

It’s a revised route from our new base-camp in Cirencester – the ‘capital’ of the Cotswolds. Now it’s not only fabulous views, villages, and rolling hills – it’s easy to access, fewer road crossings, and there’s pre-event accommodation – so it’s better than ever! A testing challenge, with a few tough climbs, but it rewards with a real sense of achievement.

2022 is looking similar to our 2021 route & start- with Friday night accommodation options also – before setting out from our Cirencester base-camp. It’s not long before the first of the hills, and with 2250 metres of climb, the Full 100 km is a real Challenge! The views out to the west over the Severn Estuary are spectacular, and if you want to make the most of them there’s a 100 km 2 Day ‘Daylight’ option – with camping at halfway. With Half & Quarter Challenge options, and the new Cirencester base camp being accessible with plenty of parking – there’s a great weekend in the Cotswolds to look forward to!

The base-camp in Cirencester is the hub for a revised 100 km looped route through the heart of the Cotswolds, which provides a stunning setting for 2,000 adventurers to test themselves. There are rolling hills, villages, the magical Cotswold Way, footpaths & trails, with some fabulous views en route – and a few tough hills in between! You’ll get full support & hospitality, including optional university style accommodation at our base-camp, and with half & quarter distance challenges also – there’s a Cotswold Way Challenge for everyone.
