Thames Path Challenge

Take on England’s greatest river with a 100 km route heading out from Putney Bridge, past Hampton Court to Runnymede, of Magna Carta fame, at 50 km. On to Windsor and then past wonderful historic scenery & countryside to Henley. With half & quarter distance options, the Bridges Trek, and Henley 10K – there’s a Thames Path Challenge for everyone – and the most popular event of the season!

England’s greatest river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge. Over 3000 adventurers will join the Putney Bridge start, and the full 100 km route heads upstream all the way to Henley along the famous Thames Towpath. It’s through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful historic scenery en-route to a riverside finish line. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way – and with 50 km & 25 km distance options also available – plus the Thames Bridges Trek & Moonlight 10 through Central London – and the Sunday Henley 10K – there’s a Thames Path Challenge for everyone in 2022.

Challenge Options

Over 2,000 Challengers will take on the main Thames Path Challenge following England’s greatest river – most will be walk, many will jog, some will run, and all have a special reason to push themselves.

Our full 100km route heads upstream from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede at 50km, then on past wonderful scenery all the way to Henley.
