Yorkshire Challenge

Based in the stunning Nidderedale AONB, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The full 100 km route is a figure of 8, out & back from our base-camp in Pateley Bridge, where there’s a range of camping & hospitality options. The famous Nidderdale Way passes the Brimham Rocks, Ripley Castle, and Gouthwaite Reservoir – providing a fantastic challenge backdrop with 50 km & 25 km options also.

Take on the Yorkshire Challenge in the beautiful Nidderdale area, on the south east edge of the Yorkshire Dales. There’s a challenge base-camp hub in Pateley Bridge with a range of camping options, car parking, and extensive hospitality & welfare services over the weekend. The full 100 km route is a varied figure of 8 style route which takes in the famous Nidderdale Way, Ripley Castle, and Gouthwaite Reservoir. You’ll get full support all the way, and with half, quarter, and 10 km distance options also – there’s a Yorkshire Challenge for everyone!

Join over 2,000 others and take on some of the UK’s wildest and ancient landscape – from rolling hills divided up by stone walls, farmland and views for miles around – our route through the Yorkshire countryside is as challenging as it is stunning. Starting & finishing at our base camp in Nidderdale – you can camp with us all weekend, as we’ve hot food, showers, camping packages & more to make it a weekend to rememmber!
