Volunteering at the Meath

We rely on our fantastic volunteers to help us with a variety of services and departments.

Volunteering with us can enable you to share your skills and experience, make a positive difference to the lives of others, meet new people and try something new. Whether you can volunteer for an hour, a day, or a day per week, your support will make a big difference to the people we support.

Volunteering opportunities with us include:

Volunteering at The Hive, our on-site café and social space – roles include customer service, catering, socialising with the people we support, and helping at Hive events.

Volunteering at The Skills Centre – our dedicated skills centre relies on a team of wonderful volunteers to help deliver a broad range of life enhancing skills-based weekday sessions. So if you love to cook, sew, sing or paint you can combine your interest and experience with volunteering with us.

Volunteering at Community Fundraising Events – A perfect volunteering opportunity if you want to make a difference but are unable to commit on a regular basis. We need helpful, friendly volunteers to assist us with he smooth delivery of a range of on and off site community fundraising and awareness events.

Company/Organisation Volunteering Team Days – help us complete a project or event in a day with people power! If your workplace allows for a Team Volunteering CSR Day then it would be our pleasure to work with you. After a pre-event meet and planning session, you’ll receive a warm welcome over coffee at The Hive. Our friendly team will divide you into working groups to paint, garden or deliver a fun activity for the people we support.
