All the Fun of The Fair!

The people we support made circus themed hats and banners for the Godalming Town Show and Carnival which they proudly took part in on 3rd June.

We were pleased to enable many residents to enjoy the Carnival procession followed by the busy Fete and music event.  In addition, the Fundraising & Marketing Team held a stall at the Fete and following the Carnival, residents stopped by to enjoy a cupcake and drink pit stop before enjoying all the fun of the fair.

Many thanks to our wonderful Volunteers, family members and staff who kindly supported residents to take part and helped at The Meath Stall. After a busy day on the field, we raised £500 through sales of Meath Preserves, our raffle and games. The Fundraising and Marketing Team were also pleased to chat to lots of locals about the work of The Meath.

We will also look forward to attending four other forthcoming community events in Surrey to raise awareness of our charity and the services we provide to the community.

The Meath Choir are excited to perform at ‘Choir Blast’, a new local community festival which is run in support of The Meath and another local charity. While our Choir proudly perform, The Meath Fundraising & Marketing Team will run a stall to raise income and the profile of our vital work.
