Although we have a number of departments, the majority of positions advertised at the Meath are within our care teams and comprise of both early and late shifts.
Experience is desirable but not essential as training is provided, but enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference is a must. As well as contracted positions, we operate a pool of bank staff who work ‘as required’, giving them choice and flexibility in the hours they work.

Socialising at the Meath
Hive Team Leader 30 hours per week

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Team Leader to continue developing our exciting new Social Enterprise ‘The Hive’. Based at our beautiful site in Godalming, Surrey, this is a fantastic opportunity to drive forward an exciting new service for our busy Meath community.

Working closely with The Head of Marketing, Café Assistant, Volunteers, and colleagues from across the organisation, you will co-ordinate all aspects of the Café and coordinate sessions for the people we support to be enabled to prepare and serve food and drink at our café and take part in a range of exciting twilight and regular evening and weekend activities within The Hive and Skills Centre.

Support Worker Up to 38hrs per week

We need motivated, enabling care staff to support our adult residents who live with complex epilepsy and disabilities to live safely, independently and to lead their best life! From making meals together to supporting with trips out, playing a game over a cuppa to supporting with shopping and daily tasks, you’ll find this role rewarding if you enjoy enabling some inspirational people to live a fulfilled life.

Full and part time roles available with the opportunity for overtime. Full training provided, previous care work is not essential. Free use of onsite gym, free parking, staff pension scheme and staff benefits scheme, subsided café. Up to £11.85 per hour, depending on experience, with great opportunities for progression.

Night Support Worker Up to 46hrs per week

The Meath Epilepsy Charity, is looking for enthusiastic Waking Night Support Workers.

We require team players to deliver a high level of care and support for residents throughout the night time to ensure they are safe through regular checks. Sleep is such an important and integral part of our lives and we want to make sure that each resident is getting the best care possible 24/7.

Do you have transferable skills and would like to assist with one of the many activities offered in the Skills Centre? You could be a student working towards your Duke of Edinburgh Award or looking for interesting work experience.
