If you or someone you care for is living with complex epilepsy, then we are here to help…
Our award-winning social enterprise Changing Perceptions,is to many a jewel on Godalming’s High Street. Here day clients and residents work side by side with staff and volunteers in a workshop setting to up-cycle donated furniture. The enterprise has a popular café in addition to the most colourful homeware shop in town!
Changing Perceptions not only provides the people we support with the chance to hone skills and feel a sense of pride and achievement, but it also gets them chatting to customers as they serve their local community. It’s a great way for locals to support The Meath and for some, to increase their awareness of epilepsy and disability.
We are especially proud of the friendly, vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that awaits your visit. Our positive and energetic culture is found in the smiles of each person we support and those who support them. What we have is very special and we never, ever, take it for granted. One parent’s comment:
“The Meath is a community that’s full of very special people; residents, day clients, wonderful volunteers and the dedicated staff team all work together to make The Meath such a positive and enabling place.”
